About Us

Atlantic Bridge and Engineering Inc. was founded in 1996 by Victoria Kolenda. Initially ABE specialized in the installation of complex strutural steel and precast for buildings and bridges throughout New England.

     In 2001, ABE diversified by opening a steel fabrication facility in Amesbury, Ma specializing in the fabrication of miscellaneous metals and structural steel for buildings and bridges.

     In 2004, ABE participated in the American institute of Steel Construction (AISC) quality program and joined a select group of New England companies to hold the exclusive designation as an AISC Certified Advanced Steel Erector.

     In 2005, due to an increased demand with fabrication, ABE relocates it's fabrication business to Candia, NH enabling ABE to maximize steel fabrication. In addtion, ABE becomes AISC certified to fabricate strutural steel buildings and simple bridges.

     Currently, ABE specializes in all facets of the steel business. Whether it's complex bridge erection, bridge rehabilitation, buildings, miscellaneous metals including aluminum and stainless steel or custom fabrication, ABE can accomodate the needs of it's customers.
